Arran Sauternes Cask Finish 50% 70cl France crisp Bordeaux Blanc with appleThis release is part of the Arran Cask finish series, which experiments with unusual casks to add a unique twist to the whisky. This particular bottling uses casks that previously held Sauternes (a French sweet wine from the Sauternais region in Bordeaux). This whisky is aged for 8 years in oak barrels before been finished in the Sauternes Cask which gives the whisky a sweet honeyed finish. Lovely stuff!
