Governments will do well in heeding US FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, who earlier this year indicated that these products should never be marketed to, sold to, or used by kids and we need to make every effort to prevent kids from getting hooked on nicotine. As we move forward, we need to be clear that to deal effectively with CVD as a global problem, we need to put added attention and effort to deal effectively with the global tobacco use epidemic
