Description

Inside there is fading to the fabric under one arm

It is priced a bit lower to offset this but this is such a rare and early piece I feel that this is a more then fair price

The print and color are divine - you cannot help but smile at the bright pattern that has a happy child feel to it

Bust: 24" flat across from side seam to side seam

Jacques Tiffeau examples can be found in The Metropolitan Museum archives and this particular dress is as good as those examples (if not better) Jacques only designed for a few years in the 60s under his own label and was a bit of a fashion bad boy

De Barentzen was an Italian couturier who, in the 50s was an equal to Valentino and Irene Galtzine. Houses like these ruled the Italian couture and demi couture scene and catered to nobles and the rich. This is an exquisite example of his work and is constructed to couture standards with hand finishes and couture detailing. The exterior is a loose weave chenille
