E46 Oil Level Sensor (12617508003) conversion This kit combines an RHDReplacement oil level sensor for all E46 engines and some others, get rid of the pesky yellow oil light on start up caused by a faulty oil level sensor. The M3 also uses this sensor as part of the oil temperature calculation displayed on the instrument cluster. Currently we are supplying this as a Febi Bilstein part.
